A vision of Midwife Joani, Joyful Beginnings Birth Care began in 2010 in a little one room office in New Braunfels. Together Midwife Joani and Ashley (then apprentice), attended home births in the New Braunfels and surrounding areas as the practice quickly expanded.

Now more than 12 years later, Joyful Beginnings has grown into a thriving five-member team providing midwifery care to community families. In addition to home birth, JBBC now offers birth center delivery in our facility located just across the street from Christus Santa Rosa Hospital. Featuring two cozy birth suites, water birth tubs, home-like waiting areas and more: healthy, low-risk families have yet another option for their pregnancy journey.
